Stephanie Covill. Fell asleep on 8th June 2006 at Skegness Hospital, Lincs, aged 33 years.
Steph lived in Wainfleet, Lincs after a recent divorce.
Steph had a Gorgeous Son, Jack, who was the apple of her eye.
Steph was diagnosed with Skin Cancer that spread to brain lining just weeks after Jacks Birth. She
was given 3 months to live but bravely fought for 3 & a half years.
Steph was Wheelchair bound due to the severity of her condition.
She never complained, she amazed me so much.
In latter months her Cancer spread to Stomach & pelvis before taking over her body which resulted
in Steph needing Respite Care in Skegness Hospital where she sadly fell asleep.
Steph was a loving Mummy, Daughter, Sister, Sister - in- law, Auntie, Cousin, Niece & Friend.
The funeral was hardest day of my life, the church was full of people who admired my special
sister.
Steph will be greatly missed by all those who loved her so dearly.
Stephs death even though expected shocked the family with it being so quick. My Parents & I were
with her as she took her last breath. I didnt think the tears would ever stop & the pain in my heart
i thought was there to stay.
With every day I think of Steph & the very happy times we shared.
We were more than Sisters we were best friends too.
Steph left my husband & I the greatest gift of all... Her son Jack.
On July 11th 2006 at Boston Court we were granted residency as Steph wished.
I will always do my best for the special little man.
He attended his Mummys Funeral & has been very brave.
Every night he looks to the stars & says Goodnight to his Shining Star.
3 years today since you left to shine brightly in our night sky.
You are loved & remembered every day.
I wish you were here to kiss your son goodbye & school, to give him a hug when he needs it. You would be so proud. Jack is a very clever little boy who gets more like you every day.
He made you a lovely card & it was all his own work.

I really miss you, things are a bit tough at the moment, but i'm sure you are there looking after us all.
Jack is doing well at school & talks about you a lot.
He has got his birthday party planned for September!!!

what a sad story with a wonderful aunty to look after him he will keep loving his mum for the rest of his life, i know how it feels losing someone to that evil illness as my wife pat parker died 29 nov 07, she was a fighter like your sister however she did not manage to stay for the three and a half years

Christmas 2008
Well Christmas has been & gone and it still feels strange without you here.
Hope you liked the gifts Jack left for you and especially the orange cream from the roses tin. The first thing Jack did was take one out for you.
Im sure you looked after Daisy too this christmas.
I still remember the last christmas we shared with you.
Jack gopt very spoilt again, main presents was a DS Lite & games, TV with DVD & a Nintendo WII for us all. He is really good on the Wii you would be so proud.
We are preparing for your birthday now

School Play
Hiya Steph,
Its that time of year again... Tissues at the ready...
Jack was given a big part in the play this year, he was chosen to be Santa! He was so excited & learnt all his lines really well.
Then he came down with poorly tummy, bad cough, cold, croaky voice, sore throat... The works !!
BUT....
He said he still wanted to do the play , he was so poorly though.
He did his part really well & i was so proud of him.
Im sure you were there watching over him.
Nanny, grandad, Moy, Carrie & Carly went too.
He has got another production on Thursday evening, so im keeping him off school tomorrow ( Wed) to make sure he is ok.
He is so like you when it comes to illness, refusing to give up!

Snowy day
Had a lot of snow today Steph, Jack loved it.
We went to cemetery & Jack made a snowman for you!
Hope you got the snowballs !!!
Was nice when some snow fell off the bush, i told Jack it was you throwing one back!
He helped to make a snowman at Nanny & Grandads, they loved it then we had a snowball fight with Grandad.
